I have been working on my family genealogy for over 40 years using different programs and sources. As a demographer, I am familiar with many of the sources used for genealogy research (e.g., censuses and vital records), as well as the errors in those sources.
Course Description
This class will be a combination of short lectures and interactive work on personal genealogies. I welcome both people who have never done any genealogy and those who have done a lot, so that we can all benefit from different experiences and situations.
