DESCRIPTION: A fun exploration of how something as ephemeral as vibrating air molecules can achieve FORM and SUBSTANCE, and how the BEAUTY of that phenomenon can affect you emotionally. More specifically, we will analyze the works of several great composers, and discover exactly how they created this stunning beauty.
MATERIALS: Ears (or Hearing Aids) would be very helpful. Also, and this is important, in order to truly appreciate the music you will hear, please obtain a set of ear-pods, ear-phones, or auxillary speakers. Listening via the speakers on your computers will cheat you out of 90% of the BEAUTY we shall be exploring. You can purchase these items (quite cheaply) on-line, or in local stores, and all you do is plug them into the little hole on the side of your computer or Smart-phone, and you're ready to go. (You can also buy a "Y" adapter that will let you share the experience with TWO of the above).
